COVID-19, fires and 2020, in general, have created an urgent need to support vulnerable Stanislaus State students who continue to face hardships. Applications for basic needs assistance are at an all-time high -- increasing significantly since the pandemic began. You can help a student stay #WarriorStrong by giving today!
Recent follow up conducted by the Basic Needs program at Stan State shows 94 percent of the students who received emergency funding re-enrolled or graduated. A helping hand - someone willing to pay it forward - is what is needed to make it through a life emergency for many of our students. Your gift will provide immediate assistance so students can continue to learn and stay enrolled in school.
Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) at Stan State recognizes students continue to face lost jobs, technology needs, changes in housing situations, unexpected medical expenses and an inability to provide for even basic needs such as healthy food. That prompted the student organization to recently give $5,000 to the Student Emergency Fund to help their peers in this uncharted time.
