Stan State Campus Cares - Student Emergency Fund

We can’t thank our generous supporters enough for helping us surpass our goal in less than 24 hours! We would like to extend special thanks to our University Police Department for their gift of $2,000.

Our fundraising effort will continue through Dec. 31 so that we can help even more students who are facing emergency situations stay in school.

The California State University, Stanislaus Campus Cares initiative was created to collectively and compassionately provide support for our students. Courtesy of a founding donation from the California Faculty Association Stanislaus Chapter, we have established both a food bank fund and an emergency fund under the Campus Cares banner.  

This crowdfunding platform was planned to raise additional support for the Campus Cares Student Emergency Fund in an effort to meet the mounting demands we’ve seen on our campus. 

The Campus Cares initiative was founded on the principle of helping those who need it most. In the spirit of that principle, we acknowledge the need of the Sonoma State community as they recover from the devastating effects of the Northern California wildfires. Therefore, for the balance of 2017, 50% of contributions to the Stan State Campus Cares Funds will be sent to the Sonoma State Fire Victims Fund.  

We know that our Campus Cares initiative provides critical assistance so that our students can stay in school. We will continue our efforts in that arena, and we know that our Stan State community will join us in those efforts. We hope that you will also join us as we seek to help those at our sister campus who are in such need.
