• $50 helps fund campus events that foster cultural exchange between local and international students, increasing cultural awareness and community connections.
• $250 provides critical assistance for students applying to study abroad programs or international students covering application and visa fees.
• $500 assists international students with housing expenses or supports local students with travel costs for short-term study abroad programs.
• $1,000 provides meaningful support toward airfare and program fees for students studying abroad or helps international students manage the high cost of non-resident tuition, ensuring greater campus diversity and increased local economic impact.
$5,000 expands global education initiatives, such as leadership forums, collaborative projects, and campus programs that directly connect our students, community, and local businesses with global perspectives—fostering cultural awareness, innovation, and economic opportunity here in the Central Valley.

Why Are Donations Necessary? At Stan State, our International Education and Global Engagement efforts create real opportunities for our students and our local community. However, many students face financial obstacles that limit their ability to access these life-changing experiences.
Without dedicated funding, we cannot provide the scholarships and support needed to: • Break Down Financial Barriers: Many students—whether they want to study abroad or benefit from on-campus global learning—are held back by high program costs, expensive airfare, and steep housing or tuition fees. Removing these obstacles helps more students access opportunities that can lead to better job skills and economic advancement.
• Expand Access to Global Learning: With donor support, we can reach more students. This investment helps individuals build essential skills for the modern workplace and enriches our campus by bringing together a wider range of viewpoints—key ingredients for community and economic growth.
• Foster Local–Global Connections: Dedicated funding enables us to create programs that directly tie global education to local benefits. These programs not only broaden cultural understanding but also lead to job opportunities and skills training that benefit local businesses and workers.
