Questions and Answers
Below you will find answers to many common questions about 1960 Minutes of Giving.
What is 1960 Minutes of Giving?
1960 Minutes of Giving is Stan State’s Day of Giving, a 1,960-minute online fundraising event from April 22 at 8 a.m. to April 22 at 4:40 p.m. During this time, alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of Stan State are encouraged to support athletics, programs, and initiatives that matter most to them. Every gift helps create opportunities and success for our students.
Why 1960?
Stan State opened its doors for instruction in 1960, and since then, we have served as a central hub for learning, growth and opportunity in the region. This campaign honors our history by creating a focused, time-bound event dedicated to shaping the next 60+ years for our students and communities we serve. 1,960 minutes is just over 32 hours — a short window that creates lasting impact for student success and regional opportunity.
