Phi Lambda Rho is a Chicana/Latina-based sorority proudly founded at Stan State
Every gift, no matter the amount, matters deeply to us because it means more opportunities for the children we serve. A small donation could help us purchase school supplies for a child in need, while a larger contribution might fund an entire workshop or community event. Together, your generosity helps us continue volunteering at primary schools, assisting local shelters, and supporting environmental cleanups—all efforts that build a stronger, healthier, and more inspired community.
Your contribution is an investment in these children’s futures and a chance to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Our Giving Day goal is $1,000 — every donation brings us closer to that target. This campaign directly benefits children in our community, especially those who may not see higher education as a possibility. Through Manos Ayudando Manitas, we provide encouragement, resources, and mentorship to inspire young minds to dream big and work toward academic success. The funds raised will allow us to expand our outreach efforts, host educational workshops, and support programs that give children the tools and confidence they need to pursue their goals.
Your gift will directly support and/or be used to:
* encourage first-generation students in our organization to succeed and graduate
* recruitment to help encourage other first generation Latina women to pursue their higher education as one of our main pillars is academics
* plan and execute cultural events for our community and encourage cultural diversity on campus
* donate school supplies to underfunded communities to enourage the younger generation to pursue higher education
Please give today and share with friends and family to help us reach our goal.
Thank you for supporting Stan State students!
