Doctoral Program
Homegrown Heroes, Real Change

The Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership at Stan State empowers local visionaries—diverse, first-generation scholar-practitioners rooted in the Central Valley—to become transformational leaders who shape schools, systems and lives. These students are not only earning degrees; they’re confronting systemic inequities, piloting innovative educational strategies and uplifting the communities they grew up in. The Homegrown Heroes Fellowship Initiative provides critical support for Ed.D. students to engage in cutting-edge research, collaborate with educators across the region and explore emerging tools like AI in the classroom.

Your gift can fund fellowships, mini-grants for local faculty partners, student-led research and an annual conference where Ed.D. students share bold ideas with impact. You’ll help equip leaders deeply invested in reimagining rural education and building opportunity from within.

Invest in the next generation of change agents, rethinking what's possible for education in the Central Valley.
