Holocaust Program in Germany & Poland
From Darkness to Light: Holocaust Study Abroad in Germany and Poland

At a time when antisemitism, xenophobia and historical denial are rising, meaningful Holocaust education is more urgent than ever. “From Darkness to Light” is a two-week study abroad program that takes Stan State students to Germany and Poland, tracing the path of the Holocaust—from Berlin to Warsaw, Krakow and beyond—and visiting sites including Ravensbrück, Treblinka, Majdanek and Auschwitz-Birkenau.

This is the only program in the region, and within the CSU system, open to students of all majors, faculty, staff and even members from other CSU campuses. For many participants, it represents not only a rare opportunity to study genocide and the roots of hate in person but also their first time traveling abroad. By funding this program, you are helping foster cultural understanding, global awareness and a more profound commitment to human rights and democratic values.

Your gift brings students into contact with history that must not be forgotten—support a Stan State student’s journey today.
